"Celebrating The Art Of Embroidery" Camil Collection explores the beauty of cultures through “THE ART OF EMBROIDERY”. We use traditional needlework to create pieces that aim to make a statement. Here you can envision your heritage design collection in one place, discover the stories behind each artist and designer and empower women, heritage, and life. We collaborate with brands and organizations that incorporate traditional embroidery motifs into modern pieces such as T-shirts, Denim Jackets. The company partners with artisans and embroidery experts to design the collection of handcrafted products using traditional techniques. |
Connecting Heritage
Our cultural heritage is alive through the embroidered straps, T-shirts, denim jackets, shawls, and more in Camil’s Collection. We use different cultures' patterns and stitching techniques to create modern, wearable pieces that encourage individuals to buy not only history, culture, expertise but also sustainable. The brand focuses on building long-term relationships with customers. Creating designs that are timeless and can be worn by different age groups.
Empowering Women (Artisans)
We are not only celebrating women's art & creativity but also we are dedicated to improving the lives of women embroiderers in Jordan and in the Palestinian refugee camps of Lebanon. We provide opportunities for women to earn income and provide needed financial support for their families.
20% of our profits from the collection inspired by Hazara Embroidery are donated to Women Initiators (WI). The fund supports their project, Adults Learners Class. This organization was established in 2013 by a group of female student activists. It was formed for awareness and economic empowerment of women, for promoting gender equity, access to quality services, and opportunities for building an equitable society through convergence and partnership.
